The Platinum Jubilee Scramble will be run a a step-aside (where the person whose shot is chosen sits out the next shot) and with a team of two men and two ladies. Entry is set up to allow entry in pairs, so that the organisers can then match pairs to form teams and create a balanced field. Individuals without a regular mixed playing partner are welcome to enter and the organisers will endeavour to match them. If you have any problems with entering on the system please contact Nikki Greenway via IG messaging, text/WhatsApp or email (07982 644137 or nikkigreenway@gmail.com).
The entry fee will be £3 per person and should be paid no later than the competition’s deadline by BACS to: sort code 07-08-06; account number 12285458; account name A J Gracey. Please add your own name to any payment reference field so that Adrian can match up payments to participants. All queries about payments should be directed to Adrian (07890 471229).
The winners of this competition (for the first time in 2022) will be awarded the Schofield Trophy. This trophy originated in the Friday Night social golf section and was named after a low handicapper who was known and loved for his positive encouragement of less experienced golfers. Like Graham Schofield and the Friday Nighters, the "competitive" Mixed Section here at the Oaks shares the same sense of inclusivity, participation, and friendship, and warmly welcomes all to the events it organises.
