This is a Step-Aside Scramble (where the person whose shot is chosen sits out the next shot) in teams of two men and two ladies.

The winners of this competition will be awarded the Schofield Trophy.  This trophy originated in the Friday Night social golf section and was named after a low handicapper who was known and loved for his positive encouragement of less experienced golfers.  Like Graham Schofield and the Friday Nighters, the "competitive" Mixed Section here at the Oaks shares the same sense of inclusivity, participation, and friendship, and warmly welcomes all to the events it organises.

Entry is set up for individual entry.  In line with the ethos of this trophy, players will be put into pots according to handicaps.  This will enable the organisers to balance out teams.  This may mean that you may end up not playing with your regular partner (if you have one).

Whilst this competition is primarily for members, the organisers may invite other local golfers who knew Graham well to participate.
